Bärbel Kasperek was born in 1953 in Hanover. From 1975 to 1977 she studied at the University of Music and Art in Hanover. She graduated in sociology and political science from the Hanover University. She received her master’s degree in 1980. From 1981 to1997 she was an actress, director, playwright, among others, in Schlosstheater Moers, Theater Oberhausen, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Schauspielhaus Bochum. In 2007 she took part in the international workshops Ars Terra in Hanover. In 2008 she held scholarship (Performing Arts), Artclub Neuenburg and Artist in Residence Nagoya University of Arts in Japan. In 2009 she received verdi-Foto-Award „Rollenbilder” (with F. P. Kelm). In 2011 she was a participant of the International Workshops for visual artists in Marianów (Poland).
F. P. Kelm was born in 1955 in Myrtle-Point, Oregon, USA. From 1977 to 1983 he studied at the Free University of Berlin (Freie Universität Berlin): Theatre and Film Studies. He has a master’s degree in journalism. In 1990 he participated in the Art-Workshop in Olsztyn. In 2004 he received a scholarship of the Heitland Celle Foundation and in 2005 the Trailog scholarship. In 2005 he took part in the II International Symposium Landart-Zamek Hundisburg, and in 2008 in the International Workshops Arts Terra in Hannover. He also was the Artist in Residence at the Nagoya University of Arts in Japan. In 2009 he received the Verdi-Foto-Award „Rollenbilder” (with B. Kasperek). In 2011 he took part in the International Workshops for visual artists in Brande (Denmark). In 2011 he is a participant of the International Workshops for visual artists in Marianów (Poland).
