Przemysław Runo was born in 1974 in Warsaw. From 1993 to 1998 he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. He completed his master degree with distinction in the Lithographic Workshop under the supervision of Prof. Jerzy Grabowski, the annex in the Graphic Design Studio led by Prof. Julian Pałka. From 1999 to 2001 he worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the home Academy. Since 1997 he has been associated with the Experimental Studio of Lithography named after Pablo Picasso in Warsaw. In 2004 he received a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. From 2005 to 2007 he established and led a graphic workshop of etched intaglio techniques at the High School named after Artura Grottgera in Supraśl. From 1998 to 2007 he was awarded several times in the competition of ‘Warsaw Print of the Month’ and ‘Warsaw Print of the Year’. Since 2010 he has been an assistant in the Graphic Arts Workshop led by Prof. Ewa Walewska at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He is engaged in lithography. He belongs to an artistic group Der Blaue Ratler. He has participated in many individual and collective exhibitions.
