Tomasz Słupski was born in 1970 in Włocławek. From 1989 to 1994 he studied in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Life Sciences in Warsaw. He received his diploma in the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Historical Palace and Park Complexes under the supervision of Longin Majdecki. From 1999 to 2004 he studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He completed his master degree with distinction at the Faculty of Painting under the supervision of Prof. Jarosław Modzelewski, the annex at the Faculty of Graphic Publishing Design under the supervision of Prof. Lech Majewski. He wrote a theoretical work entitled “Image territory” [Terytorium obrazu] under the supervision of Dr. Piotr Szubert. In 2005 he received an annual scholarship of BPH bank. He is involved in painting, drawing and graphic publishing. He belongs to an artistic group called Der Blaue Ratler. He has participated in many individual and collective exhibitions.
